What is in store?

This semester:

1. Advanced Macro - Deriving all the models from first principles. Dynamic optimization etc
2. Advanced Micro - General equilibrium and then it is Game Theory in all its glorious details
3. Advanced Quant Methods - all those betas, GMMs, LIE, CLT, LLN, instrumental var
4. Economic Development - with Prof Dani Rodrik
5. Options and Futures Markets - with Prof John Cox, inventor of the Cox model.

So, it is a pretty loaded semester, a continuation of my 1st year journey to complete the core requirements for my program. It will probably contain a lot of pain, agony and resistance but I hope that I can emerge enlightened and transformed.

Really looking into the 2nd year because that is when all the fun and flexibility begins. And the kind of classes I will be taking will be very very different such as:

2. Competitive Strategy
3. To Be a Leader
4. How to Become a Politician
5. Growth Strategy
6. Investment Management
7. Managing Campaigns and Running for Offices
8. Public Communications
